Everyone wants to build a bigger list. The bigger your email list, the more reach you have. With that reach, you can share your story or just sell more products and services that you are offering.
So how do you build a bigger email list?
It’s really not that hard.
Just implement a few of these strategies I’m going to list below, and you will certainly see a big jump in your email list size.
Write interesting emails – Nobody is going to stay on your email list if the email series you send out is boring. So instead of growing your email list size, it will actually start shrinking because people are clicking the unsubscribe link to get off your list.
Instead, make sure your emails are always interesting. Tell stories, be personal and create open loops in your emails so your subscribers will always look forward to your emails each day. Once you get to this point, your subscribers will become a great source of new email list referrals as they share with their friends and family your awesome email content.

Start a contest giveaway – Contest giveaways are an excellent way of growing your email list. They key is to pick a great prize that will resonate with your subscriber base. Josh Earl wrote a great post about how to do this using the KingSumo wordpress plugin which I suggest you read. Following this method he got over 200k emails in less than 11 days.
Offer Exclusive Discounts – Another way to spice up your email list is to seek out exlusive promo discounts that you can offer to your email list subscribers. Often times, if you are a good affiliate of a certain product, you can convince your affiliate manager to allow you to offer an exclusive discount. Or, you can always just ask.
Just make sure your discount appeals to your target audience. For example, maybe your list consists of small business owners so you send them an email featuring your own exclusive 99designs discount so they can get their next logo or site redesign.
Create a compelling landing page – Designing a landing page that is specifically made to collect emails is one of the best ways to grow your email list faster. To be effective, you need to come up with a lead magnet that will resonate with your target audience. Use this as your carrot to get people to subscribe to your list.
